Camp Onas is a special place for those who know it. We leave the regular world and come to a second home. It has been around for a long time, growing strong, sustaining traditions and becoming a mighty tree overshading us all.. What made it what it is today? Many people, certainly, but at its beginning there was Mabel Briggs. She brought it into being and was its first director. Ideals and qualities passionately held by her flow down through the sinews of the past to today’s Camp Onas.
