Direct your Donation

About our Funds ….

There are three different funds to which you can designate your donation to The Friends Camp Association of PA/ Camp Onas.  If you would like to designate your donation, click on the fund you’d like to support, and your donation will automatically be attributed to that fund. If you are mailing a check, you can include a note or designate the fund on the memo line of your check.

The Annual Fund – Gifts to the Annual Fund are unrestricted, meaning your contribution will be put to use where it is needed most.  Gifts to the Annual Fund, together with our tuition and rental fees, help us maintain and improve our facilities, expand our camp program, and achieve our mission. Donations to the Annual Fund are used where they are most needed. Contribute to the Annual Fund.

The Neiger Gould Camper Fund – Donations to the Neiger Gould Camper Fund go into a long-term fund that functions similarly to an endowment.  Our goal is to leave the principal essentially untouched from year to year, while investment and interest income supports tuition assistance funds special projects that directly benefit Camp Onas campers.  Donations to the Neiger Gould Camper Fund will benefit Onas campers for years to come. Contribute to the Neiger Gould Camper Fund.

The Camper Aid Fund – Contributions to the Camper Aid Fund will be used exclusively to provide tuition assistance for campers to attend Camp Onas.   For the 2019 summer, we awarded $62,805 in Financial Aid that helped 65 campers attend Camp Onas. All families requesting major aid are asked for documentation of financial need. Donations come from camper families, Quaker meetings, alumni and friends, along with some funding provided through a grant from an organization called SCOPE (Summer Camp Opportunities Promote Education).  Contribute to the Camper Aid Fund.
